UDGZ-200
The plasma-arc surface-hardening machine operating at a speed of 110 linear centimeters per minute
Plasma hardening is the most advanced heat treatment technique for steels and cast irons
A plasma flow heats the surface of the item very quickly. The heat is transferred from the surface into deeper layers of the metal to reach a hardening depth of 1–2 mm. No water or oil quenching is required.
No need for tempering
The surface roughness remains unchanged
No [or only insignificant] changes in the geometry of the workpiece

UDGZ-200: ADVANTAGES
Perfect for hardening steels and cast irons, including low carbon steels
Can be used for hardening of local areas prone to wear
Allows automated hardening of rotating components or gantries
The setup time is 2–3 minutes
The mobility of the machine makes it possible to perform hardening operations right on the job site
The small size of the torch makes it easy to get to hard-to-reach places
The UDGZ-200 compensates for the absence of furnaces at the facility
Low energy consumption — only 7 kW
UDGZ-200 is used for hardening

The UDGZ-200 can harden anything previously unhardenable!
The operator takes the torch, brings it close to the workpiece, strikes the arc and starts moving the torch at an even pace over the surface at a distance of 20 mm. The travel speed is adjusted by the surface sweating effect. It takes 1 minute to harden 110 linear centimeters. Two and four-step operating modes are designed for the operator's convenience.
Welders can learn the art of hardening over 1 working day!
